What to do in Boston this weekend (now that the Red Sox are world champions)
October 31, 2013
The Red Sox winning the World Series on a Wednesday means this weekend is extra long. There’s also a ton of Halloween events, so you have plenty of options. Let’s get into it.
If you want to celebrate without waiting in line, check out BEELINE’s offers for Cure Lounge’s Dance Friday party (presented by Green T Enterprises) and VIP Saturday at The Greatest Bar. And as always, BEELINE will get you past the lines at Royale’s back-to-back Halloween parties Friday and Saturday.
For a nice meal this weekend, head to BEELINE for same-day reservations at Aria, Tresca, Tavern Road,Gennaro’s 5 North Square and Brutole.
Around the city, MJ O’Connor’s is holding its 9th annual Boonanza Halloween party, with $10 cover for those who show up in costume. All proceeds go toward Christmas wish lists for the Italian Home for Children.
Steve Aoki is playing at House of Blues tonight, and tickets are apparently still available for less then $50.
The Emerald Lounge is hosting Grid, a “futuristic” Halloween party with a Tron theme, while other Halloween parties will be held at The Hawthorne, The Estate, and Ned Devine’s.
The Boston Red Sox victory parade is expected to be held Saturday. Afterward, get back into the Halloween spirit with Halloween parties at The Harpand another at Ned Devine’s.
Enjoy your Halloween weekend, and own your night.
Oh, and GO SOX!
