What to do in Boston this week
January 09, 2014
This weekend is supposed to be at least a little warmer than the super-freeze we dealt with this week, and we know you’ll be itching to get out of the house.
BEELINE offers same-day reservations to Aria, Tresca, Tavern Road, Gennaro’s 5 North Square, and Brutole, any night of the week, so why not treat yourself to a nice dinner?
Elsewhere around the city, Friday is a unique opportunity to go sledding at Fenway park. A 20-foot-high ramp will be set up inside the historic baseball park for sledding purposes. Can you think of a better excuse to skip out on work?
On Saturday, bring your red-and-white costume to Faneuil Hall for the Where’s Waldo bar crawl from noon to 7:30 p.m.
And recover on Sunday at The Salty Pig in Back Bay, where Chef Kevin O’Donnell and Sous Chef Michael Lombardi host Red Sauce Sundays, offering house-made pasta and Italian favorites.
But be careful getting there, because this Sunday is the annual No Pants Subway Ride in Boston, and you don’t want to get caught in a delay on the T at the wrong time.
Enjoy your weekend, and own your night.
